Staff Growth & Development
MPEF believes that the strength of our students’ education lies within our administration and staff. To further educate our staff is to further educate hundreds of students. With general funds continually decreasing for our public school system there is little funding for Professional Development, MPEF and donors have worked to step up to assist in filling that gap. Each building is allocated $5,000 for Staff Development grants for the school year totalling $20,000. Allocated “Staff Development” funds may be used for professional development, according to current practice. Along with, the enhancement of staff employment experience for the purpose of attracting and retaining effective professional educators.
