2022-23 Capital Project

2018 Capital Project

In honor of MPEF’s 25th Anniversary in 2018, the foundation partnered with the high school to help transform the library into a twenty-first century learning environment and creating a flexible space that fosters collaboration as well as independent study. MPEF awarded $25,000 from earnings on investments PLUS raised more than $100,000 for this project from generous donors in our community.

“Students today work and learn in a wide variety of ways. The current library configuration, with rigid, fixed shelving, space dividers and heavy furniture, creates a crowded and inflexible environment. The renovation generously funded by MPEF and the community will create a dynamic space that better supports both individual and group work for staff and students.” – Sandie McGehee; HS Media Specialist
