Staff Growth & Development
The Foundation believes that the strength of our students’ education lies within our administration and staff. To further educate our staff is to further educate hundreds of students. With general funds continually decreasing for our public school system there is little funding for Professional Development, The Foundation and donors have worked to step up to assist in filling that gap. This year, we provided $13,000 to Staff Development, with each of our five buildings receiving funds. Allocated “Staff Development” funds may be used for professional development, according to current practice. Additionally, these funds can be used for the enhancement of the staff employment experience for the purpose of attracting and retaining effective professional educators.
