Board Approved Grants
Over the years, The Foundation has developed an area in our budget that we call Board Approved Grants. Many of these special programs were originally awarded funding through Brainstrong Grants. Over time, the Foundation recognized the positive impact of some of these programs, such as the Salmon Project and the Bee Inspired Beekeeping Project in the Middle School, and agreed to provide annual funding for them so that the teachers would not need to submit an application for a Brainstrong Grant year after year.
In the intervening years, this area of our budget has grown as we identify more ways in which we can offer financial support to programs and experiences throughout the district. Thank you, donors, for helping us provide necessary funding for so many programs at MCS.
